I've been meaning to do an outfit post 'cause i've been sewing a bunch and not reporting back! I had a sheer black shirt by American Rag that was lacking a cool factor. There were too many frills and too much elastic. Now it's flowy with the sleeves of a 20's pinup. I grabbed some black fringe from the craft store and voila. These Guess Marciano shorts used to be pants.. but I took some advice from Elizabeth Berkley via ShowGirls. The Enzo black motorcycle boots are my faaaavorite. Super comfy. I found the snake bangle at a vintage shop.

I got paid a few days ago sooo I decided to take myself shopping!!!! Smoked a bowl then hit up the thrift store.... I sank into a distressed jean funk immediately! Picked up a battered jean vest and high waisted acid blue shorts. I am getting this hippie rock chick, Pennie Lane thing down. I then proceeded to Forever 21 and scored these beauties...

Wide leg trousers.... except the color is cream!



A tank that looks exactly like this but it has THE LEGEND, JIMI HENDRIX all over it. He's smoking blunts.

Scored 2 pairs of AMAZING Ruffian Fall '09 inspired leggings. I'm already going to start stocking up for fall. Summer is ending in 2 months, and I have to say I prefer winter... plus I always cut up my fall clothes into summer clothes. Makes sense.

These past few days

I've been purging everything out of BOTH my closets (my mom's house & the boyfriend's house). I've found many pieces I've been missing! And I have developed quite a large "Clothes to Reconstruct" box! These two are the ones I just finished. I turned a long flower dress into a high waisted skirt with a ruffled top. And a mini black lace dress with embroidered detail at the neckline. I tailored it according to my size and added some cream colored embroidery.

I can't stop finding AMAZING pieces online!! If only I had the budget.
I decided to satisfy my inner voice screaming, GO SHOPPING. So I went out to a couple of my favorite thrift stores today. It was a good day.

Scored a Guess ripped Heart tank, yet another Victoria's Secret black slip, some cowl neck tanks, a Grecian goddess dress, Enzo black motorcycle boots (for $2.. SO FUCKING AMAZING. I've been looking for a pair for over a year now...), and an Alexander McQueen t shirt. :)
